Our Consultants

Our consultants have extensive practical local church experience, theological training, and conference-leading expertise. They are committed to Jesus Christ and his church and abide by a strict code of ethics.

Chuck Lawless, Ph.D., is the founder of the Lawless Group, and is considered one of the leading experts on the church today. He is the author or co-author of six books on the church, including Discipled Warriors, Serving in Your Church Prayer Ministry, and Membership Matters. He emphasizes the need for a strong biblical foundation in growing healthy churches.

In addition to serving as dean of the Billy Graham School at Southern Seminary, Dr. Lawless has many years of pastoral experience. He has consulted with hundreds of churches and denominational entities, specializing in topics such as growth strategies, spiritual warfare, prayer, Sunday school renewal, and small church growth.

Until recently, Dr. Lawless was also the senior vice-president of the Rainer Group, the church consulting group headed by Dr. Thom Rainer. When Dr. Rainer was elected President and CEO of LifeWay Christian Resources, he closed the Rainer Group and directed his consulting work to Dr. Lawless.

Our Executive Leadership

Pam Lawless serves as Senior Vice President for the Lawless Group. Her primary responsibilities include oversight and management of the Crestwood, Kentucky office.

Brandon Conner, M.Div., Ph.D. (candidate) serves as the Vice-President of Consulting Services for the Lawless Group. He has served with Dr. Lawless in leading consultations in several states. He is also a contributor to the book, The Challenge of the Great Commission: God's Mandate for the Local Church.

Brian Frye, M.Div., Ph.D. (candidate) is the Vice-President of Research Services for the Lawless Group. He is completing a Ph.D. degree in Evangelism and Church Growth. 

Kevin Hall, M.Div (candidate) serves as urban consultant and executive assistant for Dr. Lawless.

Our Consultants

Tim Beougher, Ph.D., has extensive experience in church planting, pastoral ministry, and church consultation. The author of several books, Dr. Beougher also serves as the Billy Graham Professor of Evangelism and Church Growth at the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, Kentucky.

Adam Greenway, PhD., is a pastor and professor who desires to help churches grow.  An expert in apologetics, Dr. Greenway is assistant professor of Evangelism and Applied Apologetics at the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, Kentucky.

Kevin Hall, M.Div. (candidate), has a heart for urban ministry and evangelism.  He specializes in worship evaluation and contextualized urban ministry.

Sam S. Rainer, III has extensive experience and background in sociological and statistical research. The author of articles on church health and church consultation, he has served as a consultant on many assignments.
